‘‘Feed your body, fuel your mind and live life to its fullest!”

“I’ve loved baking and creating chaos in the kitchen with my children since they were small, but more recently felt uncomfortable with the high quantities of sugar in so many cupcake, snacks and sweet treat recipes. I began to look more closely at what was going into our food and the effect it was having on our energy levels, mood and ability to focus. Wherever possible we now eat home-cooked meals packed full of whole foods and minimise ultra-processed options! Luckily I love to cook so that does make it a little easier but it’s a huge learning curve! I didn’t expect to find myself studying nutrition in my mid-40s, but a combination of this and a love of yoga - discovered during lockdown - has set me off in a whole new direction with renewed vitality and purpose.

Life as a mum of two has definitely been a rollercoaster ride over the past decade, spanning across two continents and navigating unexpected challenges. Yet, I’ve finally found my path again and invite you to join me as I help active kids and busy parents discover healthy food choices to make us all feel good in both body and mind!”

Hello…

Ruthie B is a mum on a mission…she’s swapped sugar for superfoods and is passionate about making healthy food choices fun for everyone! Ruth understands that life is hectic and healthy eating is both expensive and time consuming for busy parents, whose kids are - let’s face it - constantly hungry! She wants to encourage children to have a positive relationship with ‘real’ food from a young age, so we can begin to turn the tide on poor family nutrition and lifestyle choices.

Ruth had a career in Events and Marketing before having a family, successfully going on to run two small businesses whilst her children were small. She has completed various introductory courses with The College of Naturopathic Nutrition (CNM) and is now studying for an Accredited Nutrition Diploma (level 4) at The Culinary Medicine College. Her vision is to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist, specialising in children’s health and neurodiversity. When she’s not having fun with her own family, she can be found either in the kitchen or on her yoga mat!
